For many Lake District National Park is the most preferred treasure in British Isles. It has the most beautiful panorama that attracts tourists because of tranquility. Its location is within Cumbria with Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick the main tourist centers.
                                                                        

The best time to travel to Lake District

This is an absolutely a whole year travel destination because every season has something special for tourist.

April to June the hills are beautifully covered by flowers. Bluebells and the common daffodils of William Wordsworth also cover the woodlands.

In July and August, the hills and pastures are a verdant. It is a warm month. The sun shines off the lake sending a breathtaking breeze. An evening stroll in the evening through the villages and towns is so cool. 

September and November are known times to be at the Lake District. The area is beautiful with natural leaves camouflaging from gold, red orange to yellow. Windermere, Coniston, Grasmere, Derwentwaterand Tarn Hows, near Hawks head are places to experience the kaleidoscope of autumn colors.

In winter, the days are shorter with cold air and are clear. The mountains are at their best.

Events and festivals

Religion is allied to a good judgment of nature. Cumbria population is a mixture of from Catholics, Buddhist to Paganism. When each religion celebrates their different events and festivals yearly, the place is so lively.

The number of outdoor activities to choose are various ranging from: 4x4 off road driving, rally buggy, Quad biking, paintball, clay shooting, archery, rifle shooting, target golf, abseiling and tank driving

Getting around the Lake District

 Getting from one point to another on the Lake is a calming experience on the  Ullswater Steamer or Windermere.
Tourists are advised to travel around in cars over winter months to enjoy the countryside. The cars are taxis or can be hired ones.

A few problems

Even in the perfect situation problems arise and should not let you not enjoy your day as intended.
Insect stings and bites are a common problem encountered.
The roads in Lake District are not as good, in wet seasons they get worse.
While around the Lake, be cautious of capsizing boats and wild water animals.
Pack clothes favoring your stay. 
If someone is packing their bags to the Lake District National Park then be assured of a heaven ahead.
