Grand Canyon is a natural surprise located in the northern Arizona, an exceptional perspective grandiosity of nature. Being one of America’s oldest and finest national, it is considered a rare gem.

In summer, pamper yourself for a vacation -Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore and Old Faith are out of world destinations.
 
Spring is a high tourist season and an amazing time to be in Grand Canyon as the temperatures at North and South Rims range at 70s to 80s. Late October through March, the South Rim is opened and there are awesome discounts.
                                            
 
If you intend to be at the Grand Canyon from April to October, get to the park before 10pm or after 2pm to evade queues and parking problems.  
 
Getting around
 
Getting around is easy. There are bus services from Flagstaff and Williams, taxis operate from Tusayan, a pleasant “old school” train travels to Grand Canyon village year in and out from William and if your choose to car travel the doorway is next to Desert View  and  it’s a bit packed compared to South Rim. One can use different means of air transport to get to Grand Canyon; Helicopters, airplanes, fly private and charters aircrafts.
 
                                  
The great Plank Road in Canyon
The great Plank road links Beaverton, Portland, Oregon and United States. It is a key road and has highly contributed to the intensification of the city.
 
Have fun carefully
 
Rafting is a pretty dangerous leisure using an inflatable raft to take the helm of a river or any other water body that is rough so as excite the passengers. The danger with this sport is that the raft can capsize leading to drowning.
 
Snakes, though being a big tourist attraction in the Grand Canyon are equally dangerous.
Crocodiles and hippos are another danger especially in the water bodies.

Where to stay
 
Grand hotel is one f the main accommodation provider in the Grand Canyon actually at the doorway. The hotels here are three to five star. Over the peak season do an advance reservation.
 
Hotels here are cheaper than the lodges on the Park’s land though the lodges are superb for indulgence as they let you view the sunrise and set. Also suitable for those who hike and do not take pleasure of car trip anon.
Others accommodations include motels and inns.
 
                                   
 
Events and Festivals
 
From the beginning of the year to the end, Grand Canyon’s calendar is packed with activities though some are greater than others are.
 
                                   
 
Grand Canyon Railway –Amtrak celebrates national train day at the Grand Canyon Railway’s depot on Saturday and Sunday. The event is open for the whole family and train buff.
Others events and festivals are art, craft, music, theater, sports, foods, nature, wildlife, culture family and native culture.
 
                                   
 
The Grand Canyon is a magnificent scenery transcending lives of visitors. It is overwhelming and very sizeable. Its timelessness provokes a contrast to our short existence. Its immensity gives comfort from our everyday hassles.
